Introduction
HOMSTED is a play-to-earn farm on Solana that runs in the browser, on a phone or a computer. You grow a homestead: open seed boxes, plant, water, scare off crows and harvest Hay every hour. Hay turns into $HOMSTED, the game token, which you can withdraw to your wallet.
Slogan: Touch Grass, Get Paid. The name is a stylized "homestead" (we dropped the E's and kept the cheese).

Quick start
- Open the game and pick a language.
- Sign in with a Solana wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, MetaMask or any Wallet Standard wallet. You sign a short message. It is free and sends no transaction.
- You start with 300 Hay, a Sprout, a free plant and 3 pots. Tap a plant to water, scare or harvest it.
- Open seed boxes (25,000 $HOMSTED) for stronger plants, pair elements for a combo bonus, and come back every day for the gift, missions and the Golden Hour.
Playing on a phone
The game is built for touch: drag the map with one finger, pinch with two to zoom, tap buildings to open them.
- From the wallet app. Open usehomsted.fun/play in the browser inside Phantom or Solflare and sign in as on a computer.
- From Safari or Chrome. Tap Phantom or Solflare: the wallet app opens, you approve the connection and come back to the browser, then tap Sign message once more. Payments and deposits come back to the browser the same way.
Your ranch is tied to your wallet, not to a device: sign in anywhere and it is the same farm.
How the game works
Everything your ranch makes is Hay. Plants come in 6 rarities (Common to Mythic), 16 species and 8 elements; rarer plants make more Hay per hour but live fewer days. The ranch stops when a plant is thirsty, a crow lands, the silo is full or monsters show up, so the game rewards coming back.
Around the field is the village: the shop, the market, daily gift and missions, mini-games, the mercenary, the corral, the lake, the Dungeon, PvP raids, paid lands and passive mode. Every number is in the Wiki.
Hay and $HOMSTED

Inside the game your $HOMSTED has two parts: Earned (from playing, can be withdrawn) and Deposited (from your wallet, only buys plants).

Sinks. Seed boxes, mercenary boxes, calves, lake fry and Dungeon runs spend $HOMSTED; the 5% conversion fee and the 5% market fee stay in the game; half of every successful PvP raid burns.
Promises. Only $HOMSTED, no other token, ever. No Reserve sale is planned. Any Reserve move is announced publicly 24 hours ahead, with the amount.
The Farm Reserve
The Reserve is one public Solana wallet. It receives SOL from paid lands and passive mode, holds the $HOMSTED that is paid out to players, and receives deposits.
The landing page shows its balance and every move with a Solscan link (The Reserve log). The wallet address is published at launch.
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposit. Type an amount in the Wallet panel and confirm the transfer in your wallet. The server reads the transaction on the blockchain and credits it once. Deposited $HOMSTED only buys plants (boxes and market offers spend it first).
Withdraw. Earned $HOMSTED goes to your own wallet. To withdraw you need a bought plant and 25,000 deposited $HOMSTED already spent on plants.

Limits protect the Reserve and may change with the game; the Wallet panel always shows the current ones. Deposits and withdrawals open with the token launch.

The server builds the transfer to the Reserve, your wallet signs and sends it, and the server checks it on the blockchain before applying the purchase. Each transaction can be used once.
Security and fair play
- The server decides. Time, draws, prizes and balances are computed on the server; the page only draws them. Editing the page changes nothing.
- Sign-in without risk. Signing in is a signed text message checked with ed25519. It cannot move funds.
- We never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Nobody from HOMSTED will DM you first.
- On-chain checks. Deposits and SOL payments are verified by balance changes on the blockchain and credited exactly once.
- Same engine everywhere. One deterministic game engine runs on the server and in the browser, so what you see matches what you get.
- Anti-abuse. Mini-game rounds are checked for length and score, prizes have daily caps, PvP has protection windows and raid limits.

FAQ
Do I need a wallet? Yes, any Solana wallet. Signing in is free.
Do I lose my ranch if I close the game? No. It lives on the server, tied to your wallet, and keeps producing until something stops it.
Does it work on the phone? Yes, in the wallet app browser or in Safari/Chrome with Phantom or Solflare installed.
Is there a presale or team tokens? No. 80% is the open market, 20% is the Farm Reserve bought by the team for the players.
The wallet connects but the game doesn't open. Check the red message in the sign-in window and try again; the game now uses server time, so a wrong phone clock no longer blocks you.
