Getting started

HOMSTED runs in your browser on phone or computer. Sign in with a Solana wallet — Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, MetaMask or any other. You only sign a message: it costs nothing and sends no transaction.

You start with 300 Hay, a Sprout, a free seed-box plant and 3 pots. Free plants make a bit less and can't be sold. Some features (daily gift, missions, Active mode, mini-game prizes, mercenary box, withdrawals) need a bought plant: 25,000 $HOMSTED put into plants, in boxes or market offers. What comes back when you sell a plant doesn't count.

Your ranch lives on the server. With the game closed it keeps producing until something stops it, and the plants keep aging.

Hay and $HOMSTED

HayThe ranch currency. Plants make it. It buys pots, the bigger silo and the scarecrow.
$HOMSTEDThe game token. It buys seed boxes, market offers, the mercenary box, pots and the silo, and pays the prizes. Convert Hay into it in the Wallet panel: 100 Hay = 460 $HOMSTED, minus a 5% fee (minimum 100 Hay).

Plants

Every plant is one of a kind: species, element, rarity and output. Rarity sets how much Hay it makes per hour and how long it lives.

Once planted, life runs down all the time. When it ends the plant leaves the pot and stays in your Collection. From Epic up the plant gets a title: Royal, Supreme or Mythic.

Element combo

Two plants of the same element make a pair. Each pair raises what the paired plants make; more of one element doesn't make a second pair, and the two best plants of an element pair up.

Bonus by number of pairs: +15% · +30% · +50% · +75% · +100% · +130% · +165% · +200%. The perfect ranch has 8 pairs (16 pots): +200%. A plant that dries, gets a crow or dies breaks its pair.

What stops the ranch

ThirstWatering lasts 12 h. With 6 h or less a plant asks for water; at zero it stops.
CrowLands on a plant at a random time (about every 4 h with one plant, every 2 h with 20) and stops it. Tap the crow — Harvest all doesn't scare it.
Full siloThe silo holds 2 h of your ranch's output. When full, everything stops. Harvest all empties it and waters the thirsty plants.
MonstersA gang of 2–4 shows up every 4–12 h and stops the ranch until you tap Defend.

One tap on a plant does the right thing: scares, waters or harvests.

Scarecrow300 Hay: no crows for 3 h, and the ones on plants fly away.

The Market

Up to 3 times a day, while you play, the market offers a plant at a discount for 10 minutes. Buy it or let it go.

Sell any bought plant from a pot or the barn for its fair price minus 5%. The fair price follows rarity, output and life left: an older plant is worth less.

Every day

Daily gift: 180 Hay. 3 missions — harvest, water, scare crows, open a box, convert, play, defend or plant — each pays 96–144 Hay the moment it's done. The day starts at 00:00 UTC.

Levels and XP

Almost everything gives XP. Levels go up to 50: level 1→2 takes 60 XP, and each level asks 40 more.

Active mode

Stay on the site and the ranch makes 2x. Every 2–5 minutes a pest shows up — a crow or a monster with a ring. Tap it within 60 s; if you miss it, the mode turns off with no penalty.

Cap: 8 h of bonus a day. After 1 h, pests come every 1–3 minutes. Every 30 minutes of bonus, play one mini-game round within 5 minutes or the mode pauses. With a Common mercenary or better, turn on Auto and he clears the pests for you.

Golden Hour

Once a day, at a surprise time that is the same for everyone, the Golden Hour starts for whoever is in the game. It lasts 2 h. Every 30–90 s a pest appears: tap it within 20 s.

The combo climbs as you clear pests: 2x · 2.5x · 3x · 4x · 6x · 24x. Each step only opens after 20, 40, 60, 80 and 105 minutes. A pest that gets away drops you a step. The first Golden Hour is for everyone; after that, for players with a bought plant. It doesn't stack with Active mode, and plants bought on the market don't get it.

Mini-games

Free 30-second rounds, Easy / Normal / Hard. Egg basket (golden egg = 3), Slingshot (each crow = 2, 10/15/20 stones) and Whack-a-mole (golden mole = 3, the bunny −2).

Each point pays 5–10 $HOMSTED, up to 3,000 $HOMSTED a day (with a bought plant). A better mercenary raises the cap, and from Rare up each point pays more. The server checks every round.

Mercenaries

Everyone starts with the free Mercenary. The mercenary box (25,000 $HOMSTED) draws a rarity: higher than yours and he takes the post; the same gives half the Hay back; lower and you keep yours. Every box that doesn't go up counts toward a guaranteed step up.

Lands

Land 1 is free with up to 20 pots. Buy up to 10 more from the land box for 1 SOL each and switch with the tabs above the pots. Plants, balance, boxes and missions are shared.

A paid land has 20 open pots, a 4 h silo, no crows, and its free passive hours come back every Monday. A seed box opened there has better odds (65.74 / 20.72 / 10.36 / 2.08 / 1.02 / 0.08%); its plants are worth 85% on the market.

Passive mode

Every full hour the game harvests and waters that land, and crows don't land. It doesn't plant or convert for you. With passive on every land with plants, monster gangs are driven off by themselves (no prize).

1 day0.1 SOL
7 days0.3 SOL
30 days0.7 SOL

Per land, up to 90 days ahead. Switch it on and off any time: it only counts while on.

Clearing the village

Tap trees, bushes, tufts, flowers and rocks on the village map: your mercenary clears them one by one (90 s each), even with the game closed. Each pays 10–15 $HOMSTED and grows back in 24 h. Up to 120 a day (more with a better mercenary), up to 8 in his queue, and after 20 in an hour he rests 1 h. From Common up, Auto picks the next one by himself.

The corral

Opens at level 5 with 2 free spots; the other 4 cost 5,000 · 10,000 · 20,000 · 30,000 Hay and need 6 · 8 · 10 · 12 pots on land 1. The calf box costs 37,500 $HOMSTED (same odds as the seed box) and needs 2 planted plants on land 1 per cow.

A cow makes as much milk per hour as a plant of her rarity makes Hay, and lives as long. 1 milk = 1.5 Hay. Each cow eats the grass of 2 producing plants; without grass she gets hungry and stops. Milk has its own part of the silo; Harvest all collects it, and Active mode doubles it.

The lake

Opens at level 10. Release fry for 22,500 · 90,000 · 225,000 $HOMSTED (5 · 14 · 30 fish). They grow in 5–7 h of the ranch producing. Up to 3 batches at a time and 675,000 $HOMSTED of releases a day.

Fishing: tap the water to cast, ignore the first nibble, tap when the float sinks, then hold to keep the fish inside your bar — and let go when it shakes. Fish: Lambari 3,500 · Tilapia 5,300 · Wolf fish 7,700 · Peacock bass 11,900 · Arapaima 42,000 $HOMSTED (only in medium and large batches). +2 XP each.

The Dungeon

50 floors of 19 monsters. Your mercenary fights alone, one monster every 19 s; each pays 15–20 $HOMSTED the moment it falls. He goes as many floors deep as his Power (Free 5 … Mythic 50 — the full 950). 3 runs a day: the first is free, the others cost 1,000 $HOMSTED. Needs a ranch at least 24 h old and a bought plant.

PvP raids

Join PvP to raid and be raided; stay in the village and nobody attacks you. Joining or attacking makes you vulnerable for 6 h. Protect keeps you safe for 4 h (renew any time), but attacking ends it and locks it for 6 h. New ranches are safe for 24 h.

Pick a ranch from a list of 5 (it changes every 10 min, or reroll for 500 · 1,000 · 2,000 Hay). Your mercenary fights theirs: the defender strikes first and wins ties, luck counts, and the free mercenary doesn't fight. Win and you take 50% of their silo — half goes to you, half burns — never more than your own ranch made in 24 h.

Limits: a ranch is raided at most 3 times in 24 h; a raider makes up to 10 attacks in 24 h and can't hit the same ranch twice in a day. To attack you need a full silo, 1,000 Hay made in the last 24 h, a bought plant and a ranch at least 24 h old. Whoever raided you shows up first on your list for 7 days: revenge doesn't need a full silo.

Wallet

The Wallet panel shows two balances. Earned $HOMSTED comes from converting Hay, mini-games, defending and selling plants — this is what you can withdraw. Deposited $HOMSTED comes from your wallet and only turns into plants: seed boxes and market offers spend it first.

Deposit: type an amount and confirm the transfer in your wallet; the game checks it on the blockchain and credits it once. Withdraw: needs a bought plant and 25,000 deposited $HOMSTED already spent on plants. Daily limits apply per wallet and for the whole game. Deposits and withdrawals open with the token launch.

Fair play

The server decides the time, the draws and the prizes; the game screen can't change them. Plants reach the end of their life, and an older plant is worth less.
